Overtime is taxed no differently to normal hours.
Once you're over your tax band you have additional earnings at 22 or 40% plus NI as per your other wages...Assuming your total is under £115k pa etc
Do people earning over £115k pa get offered such a thing as 'overtime'?Once you're over your tax band you have additional earnings at 22 or 40% plus NI as per your other wages...Assuming your total is under £115k pa etc

Thanks
It was meant tongue in cheek, as from April, you start to lose your tax allowances by £1 for every £2 of income as you go above £100,000. By £115,000 there will be none left...
For normal overtime, your total income is taxed at 20% for up to £37400 above your tax code, and then 40% above that...
