I need about 50m^2 of standard turf. I see that there are a number of online suppliers, are they any good. Any other recommendations that will deliver to Kent?

Stick your postcode in to this site, although they are probably the best known lawn suppliers and could be the dearest as well,at least the stockists might do a cheaper line if that's what you need.

Make sure after you have laid your new lawn, you make it hard for somebody to steal it frown

In the early 90's I was in north London, parked the car to get the tube to the W/E and walked past a house that had just been done up and there were 'reward' notices for info relating to the theft of the newly laid lawn.

Ex next door neighbour was in the business, laid a lawn on a new housing estate, came back a week later to check how was doing,it wasn't,some scrotes had rolled it up again and taken the lot

Strangely enough the house 6 doors down now had a new lawn laid which wasn't there before,of course he couldn't prove anything, ended up waiting till the people moved in before doing it again.
