Oh wise people, please help.....

I used to have a URL for a web site that could provide the best fuel prices for any specified area in the UK(returns with oil co. names and addresses of forecourts).

I seem to remember it being powerful enough to point out where Optimax was available in a specified area.

Who can tell me the URL I want to know?

I was checking with "aapetrolbusters.com" but have given up as it has been 2-4 days out of date most of the time.
A useful one would be,well....useful.

Shell couldn't make it more difficult to find Optimax if they tried!

www2.shell.com/home/Framework?siteId=uk-en

In Keyword Search box enter: filling up with shell optimax

Then click on SEARCH
Then on next page click on 2 (for page 2)
Scroll down to foot of page
Click on 'Where to fill up with Shell Optimax'

I used to know the one which quoted lowest prices, but I've forgotten it - will come back if I remember!

Cheers so far folks.

The main aim of the exercise was to find where I could get Optimax in Scotland, especially Edinburgh. The Shell web page only quotes two stations in Lanarkshire.

I'll email shell to try and extract more info.

I know why you want it.....ive got an Accord Type-R and use Optimax as much as possible, makes a difference to the kick at 5800 and the pull.

Optimax say there petrol will always be above 97 RON but at present is 98.4 RON

BP Super plus is hard to find and not as good IMHO.

Still, down here (Northants) most Shell Garages have at least one Optimax pump.

What VTEC have you got ?

fao s2giles: My VTEC is a 96 Civic VTi.

Not as exciting as the Type-R machines but I'll empty my piggy bank for a Civic-R or Integra-R before 2004.

My interest in Optimax is mainly due to a guy I've not seen in ages appearing with an Integra-R who didn't know about Optimax (Integra-R at least needs super).

I'm probably going to start running on Optimax if I can find it.

From the Shell web site I know it is available from the services at Abington on the M74. I pass this twice a week but hate stopping my journey once I'm going. Being a motorway service station it'll be more expensive probably.
