Anybody had it done or is thinking of having it done ? Read the web site review in sprint www.fxuk.net had a little browse on the site and a look on the youtube videos. I reckon a TVR would be a right Barsteward to wrap what with all the curves and not many panel pieces . I reckon a Griff in chrome or matt black might look 
God damn it you beat me to it ! Two weeks ago i witnessed a Nissan GTR at a local V power emporium that looked like it was dipped in Chrome. I later found out it was a Wrap and is owned by an LUFC player. At the time i thought excellent a chrome plated Griff would be outstanding. Cost and possibility to be researched, patent appllied for !

I wonder if that was the same one that turned up for TiTT last year? There can't be that many around!

PaulI asked about getting my Tuscan done in either black carbon or chrome at the last NEC Classic car Show. There was a company with a green lambo there and they said they couldn't do the Tuscan in carbon because of the complex curves, they said they 'may' be able to do it in Chrome but it would cost £7k. It's labour intensive looking at that video, but £7k was outrageous!
Would look quite special though...

The reason it is so expensive to wrap in chrome is they have to wrap the car twice! Reason is that the chrome is thin and high tack(wont come off the paint finish very well), so the car has to first be wrapped in Matt black or whatever is cheapest then apply the chrome, i had a quote for the Sag in chrome that came in around 4k 
We wrap vehicles at work, amongst other things. Matt black is a quite popular now as a couple of manufacturers have launched matt black wrapping film. We have recently done a Bentley Arnarge and a Landrover 90 pickup in matt black. I think many TVRs would be more difficult than you might think- (I did ponder about doing my Cerbera after we did the Bentley, but decided against it). The film is, at maximum, 152mm wide, so you would not be able to do the 1 piece front or rear sections without a join in, I suspect. Usually, if we have to join film, we hide it in a swage line or under a rubbing strip, but there are none of these, especially on the Griff. The design of the leading edge of the door on all later TVRs would be tricky too. You can see right into it, so you need to wrap right into the recess, but getting in to do a decent job without removing the door would not be easy. Finally the issue of paint... Vinyl SHOULD come off and leave the paint behind undamaged, but that really depends how well the paint is stuck to the vehicle! We are very careful fitting and stripping but have had instances of paint damage. In all cases it is were the vehicle has been repaired and paint is not up to factory standard- a lot of TVRs have had panels painted, especially front end re-sprays for stone chips, so you have to factor the possible cost of paint repair upon removal. As for life span- we have a van that was wrapped with a printed image 5 years ago and it still looks OK - but realistically it is not a replacement for paint- I would say anything over 3 years is a bonus- most of what we do is promotional so only stays on for a short while, or fleet which is typically for a 3 year lease.

We had our Griff wrapped 3 years ago now and in my opionion still looks great! It was in need of a re-spray at the time but we thought as we do not have a garage to keep it in this would be a waste of money, so we took it to totally dynamic in north london. They helped us design the wrap and we left it with them while we went away and collected it a week later. To be fair they said it was a complete nightmare! As they had never done one before they had to get one section recut 3 times! They also said that if they ever did another it would cost alot more! I would guess you would be looking in the region of 3k. The fact that ours is printed I think it hides the paint imperfections underneath and we are expecting to have to have a respray when it comes off anyway. It has certainly saved us alot of time/money on wax/polish etc in the time it has been on!
There is a write up in last months EVO were David Yu has had his metallic grey Nissan GTR vinyl wrapped. The wrap is in purple to replecate his previous 'Godzilla' Skyline.
As he comments it will be a damn site cheaper to replace a section of wrap after a stone chip or scratch as opposed to having to have the panel repainted, mind you I am not sure how that compares with the cost of mobile companies like Dentmaster etc.
Apparently you wash/polish the wrap in the same manner as normal paint.

I would of thought a Sag would be very hard to do, all them vents cant be easy to cover?
