Help, any Norfolk PHers?

I'm going to Norfolk in a few weeks, staying near the Wherry Inn in Horning. I have to drive down Ferry Road that leads to the pub. As far as I can remember from a kid, this is a pretty uneven road.
Question is, does anyone know it and can tell me whether it is Cerbera friendly?
Sorry to turn the board into Lonely Planet guide to Norfolk but I don't wanna drive all the way then find I should have taken the Golf.

A Cerb ? In Norfolk ? I'd stick your head out of the Window occasionally make sure they release you haven't come from outer space. Oh, I'll get flamed - Norfolk members: I was joking. I did my ride drive day there actually. Certainly those straight Roman roads will suit you and they wasn't that bumpy. The B ones were though. Still, relative to Kent, at least you know you can get away with a bit more right foot than you'll be used to. Not that you would, I'm sure.

I wouldn't make the mistake of thinking that because Norfolk is sleepy you can hoof it everywhere. There are quite a few fixed speed cameras and, more disturbingly "safety" camera vans (Whatever a safety camera is)! Still at least hte police are good enough to publish in the EDP (local paper) where the safety cameras are going to be for the day!

oh by the way....when you say the 'wherry inn' on ferry road, do you mean the 'ferry inn' on ferry road? cos thats the only pub in horning (right on the waterfront) that has a name of that sort. went down there again today for a coffee and its a nice place.
er... Now you come to mention it, I'm not so sure. Place has been organised by some friends. I know the pub in Horning by the river. Didn't it used to have a paddle steamer moored out the front? Or it could be the Wherry Inn - not sure where exactly but nearby, again, on the river. Has a huge car park and a big bow fronted window looking out onto the river.
Now you got me confused.

That's the Swan, at the west end of the village on the bend of the river.

It's the Ferry Inn down Ferry road, at the east end of the village. No problem with car access. I didn't like the place last time I was there (a few years back, so may have improved). For better food get the ferry across the river (most probably doesn't run in winter though) and walk a mile or two up the lane to the 'Fur and Feather' at Woodbastwick. Woodforde's brewery is on site so maybe not the best place to go to if you're driving! However, if you are boating, in the summer, it's worth the effort to fill up on Nelson's Revenge
and then sleep it off on board.Hi Fred....yep, its definitely the Ferry Inn...the road is ok..a few potholes, but I wouldn't worry about taking your car down there.I've eaten there and its quite good, but as has been said above, the brewery pub across the river has very good food....let me know when you'll be there and we can have a photo session

Good luck Fred, I took mrs N17 TVR to Norfolk for a weekend away a couple of months ago, but she made me turn back at the border when we were met by a cross eyed boy with very large ears playing a banjo.
I don't actually originate from up here so I wont take offence at that comment!!!, but the Mrs does and I always call her 'inbred' and 'swampy' during an argument....
perhaps thats why I sleep in the coal shed most of the time
