OK, here is a link to more:

The light was shit and the images need to be sized correctly. They are actually quite high resolution but FTG compresses them. I'll keep playing, and if the weather is nice tomorrow i'll post some more.
The camera is a Fuji MX-2700. It's a couple of years old and the raw images are fine. It's just a bit slow.
At my parents house for a couple of days. Close to murdering someone at work so decided it was time for a break.
Lots of nice roads up north (Chester(ish)), and I have just been bought an AP-22 accelerometer from the wife That plus some mad high speed driving over the past couple of days has brought the blood pressure down...

The rest of the picks look great even if you have been using brasso under the bonnet

No brasso, never cleaned the engine. It's just Porsches don't spray oil everywhere
Well gave the car another good hiding today, and also configured my AP-22. Here are the first set of results (which need some explaining before anyone starts laughing).
----------------------------------------
60 ft 2.62s 0.68g 31.6mph
1/8 Mile 9.30s 0.15g 82.1mph
1/4 Mile 14.01s 0.08g 103.6mph
0-60MPH 5.77s 0.43g 278ft
0-100MPH 12.37s 0.23g 1072ft
Pk Power: 96.5mph 11.69s 974ft 310hp
Peak G: 8.7mph 0.56s 2ft 0.91g
----------------------------------------
First point to note is that I wasn't going to drop the clutch at 5k RPM, and so decided that if I wasn't going to do that, I might as well just use a repeatable launch tactic. That was basically to feed to power in from 1.5K. You could really feel the car bog down. Anyhow 0-60 in 5.7 not bad considering.
Next interesting number is 0-100 in 12.37 secs. Remember this is with a 0-60 some 0.7 slower than book value. Interestingly my 0-100 time is almost exactly what Porsche claim. Evidence that the car is pushing out more than the stock 320BHP.
So on to the BHP. 310 at the wheels, approx. 355HP @ FW(with 15% transmission loss). All very good.
Next embarrassing number is 1/4 mile. My only excuse is slow start and ringing every last rev out of 2nd and 3rd to get high HP figures. It is clear from other runs I have done that you should really be changing up around 5.5K RPM.
More results as they come…..

I remember reading a road test on the VX220 and the tester not being able to get the 5.6sec time quoted by Vauxhall (they were dropping the clutch at 5K). Vauxhall came back and said they dropped the clutch at the red line, ouch!
I'm quite happy with the 0-100, and I think I can improve on that. The BHP figures are a bit subjective, as it is quite hard to calibrate the accelerometer accurately. I'll keep on fine-tuning and try and verify via some other means...

UV - ring Ray at Northway (www.northwayporsche.co.uk if I remember) as I think he has a set of 3.6 split rims in with rubber for a grand.

AND I was going to buy the wheels Domster!!! But as you've told everyone else I guess they're gone...
Never mind, good job I'm not disclosing the location of those 18" 993RS split rims going free to a good home
Only joking, let us see piccies when they're on UV (the car that is, not you)
