Just put down a deposit with AFN for the new MY2003 Boxster S. Delivery next January!

I got "unofficial" word on what the "upgrades" are. But I have no reason to doubt what I was told. I promised various people on the forum that I would spill the beans when I was told anything. What I was told is reasonably consistent with what the car mags are saying anyway so its not great news...

Minor headlight restyle. (so....)
Read air intakes restyled. (yeah....)
Power up 13bhp (so....but nice)
Glass Rear Window. (At last...!)

Any news about the 300 BHP engined model that was supposed to be coming out?

If so, is it going to be an RS or something as I thought that engine was going to replace the current S's, I guess with their waiting lists they don't have to bother to maintain customer interest though....

No information on that at all, I'm afraid. If its available my deposit is going to get transferred, I think. That's assuming I don't go bonkers and change it to a 996...
