I am currently thinking of enrolling on a ridedrive driver tuition course for my new chimaera, as I am new to the whole 285bhp real wheel drive thing! 
I will probably go for the two day course so I can spend some time on an airfield getting to know the car and also get the certificate for insurance purposes. Has anyone been on one of these courses? What did you think and would you reccommend it for a rookie? Admittedly another reason is that the guys on top gear, etc always seem to have way too much fun and I fancy a go at donuts too
Although one other thing nagging at me is I do love my new and perfectly functioning little car very much and don't want to hurt it
, is there much potential for damage?
And will I need new tyres afterwards?

I emailed them after getting my Tuscan. Received reply saying it had been forwarded on to Mr. XYZ, local to myself and that the organiser would follow this up.
Suffice it to say that six months on, I've not been contacted by either. If this is anything like the standard of their on-road service, I'd suggest keeping your cash in your pocket as I have.
