Because the new series organiser only wants proper GT and sportscar machinery in the championship.
The Stealth was only allowed to run three years ago because the organisers then let it run. I don't see it making the grid. I haven't heard of a team preparing one either come to think of it!

I always considered it a proper GT car. It's basically a longer and wider Ultima, and he's happy for that to run. I heard that someone was considering entering one in the championship.

Tsk, tsk - the Stealth is a heavily reworked Prosport 3000, not an Ultima! They may look similar, but that's only because Mr Noble styled both bodies. Underneath they are very different.
Mind you, only around 5 or 6 Stealths exist (though I may well be wrong), so it's easy to see why they wouldn't be let in. Same goes for the Cerbera 12, really.
That list looks really good , but im sure that there will be alot more cars that will be added to it soon!!!
Just found a good site which sells racing cars and look what i came across.

I stand corrected. I'm sure I read in a very old EVO that it was a longer and wider Ultima. Makes sense about the Prosport 3000 thing though
Think I am right in thinking the Holden Monaro is GT-N or GT-C car not a full fledged GT.
Re : Stealth I looked into running the Works team myself in partnership with Terry Pudwell in 2002 for the 2003 but that did not happen for strategic comerical reasons.
Hugh Chamberlain has rebuilt the car updated the design.

I wasn't having a go or anything like that - lots of people think the Stealth's an extended Ultima, as many also used to think the Prosport was an Ultima, too.
They all look great, though. Driving something as outragoeus as an Ultima on the road must feel fabulously un-PC in this day and age.
