Griffith/Chimera front hub dimensions.

Due to an unfortunate incident last weekend the Griffith is now undriveable and I need to get some measurements. Ideally the earlier the better.

I was wondering if anybody has a hub or their car with the wheels off? And if they could get me a few measurements.

I need:

The diameter of the hub face
The depth of the hub locating ring (if there is one) (the inset on the hub face) or height of any ring that protrudes from the hub face.

I think Quinny would be the man as he has been stripping his suspension down so would be in a position to measure stuff......

Try Baretti he had some adventures replacing front uprights & hubs that might be of assistance.

Cool. I need to get the dimensions off to the machine shop, ideally this week. If not I'll do it over the weekend, but I'd rather get the car back on the road asap.

Sorry Wildfire. I've been to the workshop but can't find a hub on the shelf. I gave one to my brother to play with in his blasting cabinet and I guess I may have binned one. Sorry mate, wish I could have helped.

Chris, give me a call tomorrow, I have to sort a load of hubs out for 5 stud conversion and luckily it will be tomorrow I do it! Will have them at hand to help if you like.

Hub diameter 130mm, spigot 63mm dia x 20mm deep. That's what mine were.

Thanks Ant and Rayvon. Got all the dimensions I need. Hopefully I'll be rolling again soon. Only downside is all of this has come out of my VEMS budget. So that will have to wait.
