Wondering if any of you have any information for the best place to buy insurance for an elise? Best quote at the moment is adrian flux with £1500, im 24 3year ncb, one sp10 and an accident my fault 3.3 years ago!

Reccon i can get it down further dont understand the quote as a vx220 turbo is only 12500quid and its faster than the elise base models im looking at.

Motor Insurance warehouse - i'm paying circa £550 on an S2 at 26 years old with 3 yrs NCB.

It's all about hitting that magic 25 years old marker when insurance starts to become more 'reasonable'

[smug_mode] Currently paying £218 with Admiral on their multi-car, a package which saved us nearly half of our previous premiums on 3 cars. [/smug_mode]. This is for an S1 with declared engine mods, not garaged. I'm about twice your age though, which may have something to do with it! Previous premium was £360 with LV.

im older than you with an unblemished history and pay £700 on a Vauxhall Zafira!!

Good job my Lotus is insured for 3000 miles p.a. otherwise that would be astronomical as well.

Try Henderson Taylor. Cheapest quote I've ever had, and definately the friendliest people to deal with.

What he said.

I'm with Richard Egger and found them very competitive even after a £20k excursion last year.
