Hello everybody,

I'm about to purchase the most beautiful car i've ever seen in the form of a sapphire black tuscan.....The only slight niggle I have is sorting out the insurance! Any young(ish....i'm 26) tuscan owners out there who can recommend some insurance companies?? Many thanks in advance.........Gordon.

Try Sunninghill, Fish was 26 when he had his Tuscan, has been with them since, they are very good

Blimey, Lisa, nearly 11000 posts in the time I've managed to rack up a measly 900 or so !!!

Oh, back on topic, Adrian S Flux in King's Lynn is used by a lot of the nippers at work here who have Skylines, GTiRs etc. Worth a try

I'm 25 and am with Mannings as they were cheaper for me than anyone else. I got the phone number from someone on here but unfortunately don't have it to hand....anyone got it?

Let me know how you get on Gordon. I'm on the lookout too (I'm 27). If I get a decent quote I'll be in touch.

27 too. Went through direct line. Tried a few brokers but they couldn't touch DL's quote. apparently once you've had a year or so's "performance" driving experience your quotes will come down. happy motoring

I think I used Footman James with my Tuscan last year (26) Think it was £1200. Whatever car I get it's £1200! Must be my dodgy postcode...

I've just had to renew mine (I'm 27) and have had my 200 X tuscan for 1 year; directline quoted £1150, norwhich union £1400, tesco £1050, sunninghill £880, and classicline insurance £750. I went for the latter, especially as they will cover me for trackdays. Hope that helps.

Many many thanks to you all for your valuable advice ......still battling away at present. Didn't quite mention how stacked the odds are against me...26, only 1 year NCB (due to loss of Lotus in Nov last year), and daily driver doing about 8000 miles/year.....Tesco winning at present with £1900!!
