Zertec ForceShield Reverse Sensor

Has anyone tried the Zertec ForceShield reversing sensor system that is advertised in the back of Sprint each month? This sounds like a great idea, especially for those cars without rear bumpers, but I would like to know how well it works before I get one.

My dad saw it in my copy of Sprint and brought one for his (wait for it) Passat. Very easy to fit and works a treat. I know it is not a Tiv but should be a doddle to fit.
