Topic removed - just wondering why?

I had a topic removed from The Lounge just now "'Strange desire of the day" due to "please post something of interest"?
I didn't know topics had to be 'interesting' and surely this is subjective? Ironically it was by far one of the more popular posts I've posted with 10 responses in a short time period with people who have had similar random ideas today!
If this is a good reason for removing topics, can you please remove the other 95% of things that are also not interesting in the forums?!
I just thought it was strange - I can understand 'spamming' but this was not that.

Hence it's closure, and rather than prolong yet another senseless debate IMHO and as I'm the one who will undoubtedly be expected to be typing constant replies I'll bring this thread to a closure as well.
Or course if you really feel that there was any substance to the thread then I'm sure a well worded email to Haymarket will get it resurrected.
