Was at my ma's today and two dirty great peacocks turned up in the garden. Armed only with a Mju300, not ideal for wildlife shots (!) I was quite pleased to get this. Anyone had more exotic arrivals?

Seen a kingfisher within 100m of the back of the house two mornings in the last fortnight!

Wouldn't have been awake enough even if I had the kit ready, though!

We get a LOT of pheasants; beautiful birds (IMHO) but this photo was taken with a crap 1.3 Megapixel camera
.

Saw a Sparrow Hawk once - all the sparrows around the bird table suddenly scattered, this hawk swooped in, perched on the bird table looking really pissed off, then a couple of seconds later flew off.

This morning we had a Kestral eating something about 15m from the back fence, previously we've had a marsh Harrier fly over the house.

Unfortunatly I don't have a good enough camera to get decent pics

Yes - which would you have for starter and which for main course?
