Broke down today

I went to meet StuH at Toddington Services on the M1 this morning and then go to NorthWeald airfield.

We met up and then went to start the beast and... sod all.

The battery is $%*&ed. called a friend (got him out of bed) and he brought a batt with him and installed it. He went and bought me a new one as we went to North Weald. then

I locked my keys in the boot... What a twat I am.... And i didn't know the way in

Today i should of stayed in

Yep.. i should of said that was where i locked the keys in the boot

It was good, 3 nobles were sprinting with a load of lotus's and a few Caterhams

A few cars spun on to the grass due to nailing it too soon coming out of a bend on the damp track.

Sorry to hear of your misfortunes, but pleased that you persevered in true TVR style.

I saw a friend of mine have his keys shut in the boot by his wife at 'Back Home' once. He had already started to mouth the words "Don't shut it!!" but his wife had started to close the lid....and shut it.

Thank goodness for some very knowledgable people on hand who meant he could have his luggage out of the boot afterall. I think we have all done stuff like that, particularly when more flustered than usual due to a preceding incident.
