Good steak Newcastle

Hi Guys,

Can anyone recommend anywhere in Newcastle for a great steak?

Will be there next weekend and we're looking for a nice t-bone or prime rib.

Hogs Breath on the wharfe menu

Or a little further afield the Gunyah Hotel at Belmont does a good piece of beef and the oysters are quite good too. menu. Overlooks the yatch club with good water views.

Or where you thinking of Newcastle-Under-Lyme ?

That's in Australia... he's probably referring to Newcastle Upon Tyne, in the North East of England. Bit of a long way to travel!

No its Newcastle Upon Tyne not my choice but will try to make the most of it.

Much as I adore Newcastle, I do find it lacking somewhat in the fine-dining stakes (see what I did there?)..

Head an hour south into North Yorkshire. Some great gastro-pubs in the area. Not very helpful to your question, I'll concede.

About as helpful as my post You do get very good steaks here in Newcastle though
