i have always had a thing for TVR - i think i still will for any future cars... British built or not, their heritage dates back here...

as for the usable interior, i don't understand that comment.

Strewth you must be my exact opposite. I think TVR interiors (90's onwards) are the best in the world and I bought a TVR to avoid TC, ABS etc.

The interior designs are some of the best around bar non, but the intrior was a little to small for my liking, adding a couple of inches to the width would have made a huge difference and somewhere to store things was always my issue.

As for the comments about abs and TC , i want a car i can run everyday with no hassles, having NO abs is just silly for a road car. I would want the TC to be able to be turned off as and when i like.

TVR of old where great, exciting and still can be again, but the game has moved on.

Not me .. for that money I would be looking at an Aston V8 or Porsche GT3.

The V8V will always be the better every day car, mine gets used daily.

But would like to see something a little more raw than the V8V. But also you cant buy a new V8V for 70,000, this to me represents good value for money imo

I'll take an Aston please, and keep the Griff for those special occasions

I would never be in a position to buy one new, I've alway bought 2/3 year old cars.
But if a 2/3 year V8 Sag was on the market 18 month ago I wouldn't have modded my Griff and would have bought a V8 Sag in a heart beat.

Hmmm - depends.... What car are they offering?

If it is a Sag with an LS engine then I am not sure. It seems like a model that is at the end of its life rather than at the beginning (says me with a late Cerbera). Although an LS Sag I am sure would be (is) superb.

If however they are offering new models for £70K ish that are much more than a face lift and LS conversion then I might be up for it in a year or two (but I would struggle to avoid other great cars that can be bought for similiar money).
