Just had my S back form TVR Power and runs so much more smoothly after re-build. Barnet and Castle could not of done enough to help me . I think the factory also coughed up.No cost to me ! Is this the norm ??

worms...in a can........... oops!

It's the norm around here to say something nice about TVRs and to praise good service from anyone, especially those nice dealers who usually get caught in the crossfire!

Good to hear that you're up and running on all cylinders

Maybe i was not so clear in my mail......I never seem to get problems with the service dept and my mail this time was to reflect EXCELLENT SERVICE form both garages and Blackpool.

Glad to hear you were looked after properly and got it all sorted - how old is the car and what was wrong?

TVR should pay for it all if it is covered under their warranty, if it is another warranty then that will depend if the other warranty company tried to claim "wear and tear" but either way, if you haven't been asked to pay that is all that matters!!

Hi Graham,

Car is a 51 and it seems that cams were worn along with the finger followers. Warrany covered first £2000 and garages the rest. Car sounded more like a tractor than my old cerbie ever did.
