I concur, one of the greats, I had the pleasure of meeting him at goodwood back in 99....he went whizzing past on a beemer

A hero - still remember that fantastic drive in David Pipers LM at the revival a couple of years ago.

Can`t imagine one being driven more beautifully!

The man's pure class! Still gives it large whenever he gets on a bike or in a race car. Seven times World bike champ, I hadn't realized it was that many. Rossi, eat your heart out!!!

He's also one of the priviledged few who are allowed to demonstrate the Pre-war Mercedes W154 and Auto Union Grand Prix cars at GP weekends.

Remember him in the wet at Silverstone 1999 in a W154 Sunday morning just before the race. It was a loud as a modern GP car and he was clearly having fun.
