If I confessed I had a spare 4 grand, I'd be spending the next couple of off shifts fitting a kitchen..redcard
So, count my lucky chickens.... and keep hiding the cash.....
Off to bed now, up in 4 1/2 hrs....

Stephen, I'd only sell mine for a 350 2+2 or a Cerbera,cloud9 neither of which are likely to happen before the bloody kitchen...rolleyes

And, I could use the veneer on the 350!!!

Couldn't find it at first, until I saw the back of the car. Nice looking example (doesn't appear to have the front under-spoiler though wink ), but I must admit it is a pet hate of mine to see cars, whether BMW's claiming to be M's, or TVR's, being badged incorrectly. These people are just fooling themselves.

Slightly O/T, I do remember seeing a blue 500SE at a Back Home in the early '90's, and I seem to recall that although it wasn't a production model, the conversion may have been done by the factory? If true, I would have less of a problem with the badging.

I think that it was a Power conversion. Honest badging would make it a nice sleeper.

Ahh - but at least at that time Power was owned by TVR, which for me gives it more credibility.

Here's the link if anyone wants a look :

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1507105.htm

Looks like he has removed the wood and left the black metal that is behind in full view .. perhaps it's being replaced... looks a nice car apart from that.

Looks very interesting - does anyone know it? The ad is annoyingly vague given the work done - by who? Engine mileage? What brakes? Would it have needed a custom exhaust?

Must....resist.....emailing....

I suppose at least a '500SE' is in the spirit of the Wedge; a couple more years in production and who knows, it could have been a factory model. At least the seller is honest enough to call it a 400SE in the title... and who amongst us doesn't want a sod-off big V8? biggrin

Well boys, i'm glad you found my advert for this WEDGE. Secondly thanks for opening this thread.

To answer a few of your query's.
The dash as it says in the advert is of a carbon fibre finish, Glovebox is finished in red leather with stitched tvr logo, not just the black panels.
The exhaust is a full stainless system.(sounding like a v8 wedge should).
The engine mileage is 31000 miles with purchase receipt to prove.
Brakes have been uprated to groved discs and EBC red stuff pads.

A few more photo's have now been uploaded via photobucket web link.
check the advert for the link.

Any more enquiries please email or ask on this thread..

As Wedg1e said nice to see you call it a 400 and not some stupid thing like 500SEACalternativebodychimgriffcerb hehe

Has it got the Griff box or still running the LT77 ?

Who changed the engine, and how long ago ?
