Run lola run, momento, k-pax, moon, pulp fiction, sexy beast...
Ok, they might not be all alike, but they all have great stories/directing With no glossy explosions and general sillyness, would like to hear about any that have flown under the radar such as 'moon' and 'momento' etc.

Irriversable
Taxi (French version)
Munich
Jacobs Ladder
Synedoche Newyork

All very different but all great.

Irriversable (must be watched in total darkness with the volume on 11) its messed up but stick it out and you will never forget it! It is disturbing!

I think this is my favourite recent movie.

Very bleak. Very human. Oddly.

It actually has a story and the special effects, although very good, are thankfully irrelevant.
