This year I am in a geographical and financial position to come along to some of the GT races this year. Which is great.

But, because I'm nosy and I think it's great that some of the drivers I hope to be watching appear to be members here, I wonder who they are.

Will anyone own up? If so who do you crew/drive for so that I can keep my eyes open for you.

Cheers

Phil

(PS - never been to a GT race before and literally can't wait for the season to start)

Not sure I'd call myself a Driver as such, since most of my days are spent asleep in lecture theatres but I will driving the Cup class Noble this year.

It looks like being a stunning season, especially in our class, so a time to start following GTs. You'll find that eveyone is really friendly (well, providing everything is going ok they are, ) so fell free to go up to anyone in the paddock as we'll all find time to chat to a fan.

If you've got any questions then feel free to ask.

Simon - having watched you in the Tuscan on Tele - I can say that you are indeed a driver!

Uni /college or not, you have something on your CV that very few can match.

Phil

Bloody students! Hello Simon and well done on the Noble thing.

To echo what Simon said, do feel free to chat. Obviously things do get rather busy from time to time, but the paddock is generally a friendly enough place.

There are a number of drivers/team members/sponsors etc. who visit here from time to time. Some comment, others just look. Members of Balfe Motorsport, Rollcentre, Eclipse, Synergy (nee CDL), Hawthorns and many others have piped up during the last year.

Steve @ Eclipse.

Great to see you back Simon. You put in some fantastic drive in the Rollcentre Tuscan Speed 6 in 2001. Hopefully you'll be able to go after some of the slower GT class cars. Get yourself in a prototype mate, and show the world what you can do.

P.S Ahonen, I'm a student as well we aren't a total waste to society.

P.P.S As oter people have said on other threads, you should try and start to write professionally

Doh!

Too late. Dad reads the forum.

A prototype sounds good, just give me time.

Oh, and just so you all know, Steve's also a damn good engineer.

edited to add the bit about prototypes.
