TVR'ers to Spa GP 2010 + newbie advice

Just wondering how many Tivvers regularly make the trip to Spa for the F1 GP?
I would really like to go this year with a few friends as I am sick of the British GP and thought it a perfect occasion to take the T350 over the water in the Summer.
I have scoured PH and there seems to be a wealth of difering and conflicting info but currently my thoughts are as follows:
- Drive on Thursday from Leeds to Folkestone/Dover for Channel Tunnel/Ferry + then onto Belgium
- Camp Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun nights at one of the many nearby campsites.
- Get General Admission tickets for the GP as there seems to be many good vantage points given the topograpy of the circuit, but I beleive it is imperative to be there early (before the Germans) on Sunday to ensure a good view...
How much time needs to be allowed for travelling and what generally are the best times to travel? I assume the tunnel is much quicker than the ferry and overall less hassle but would welcome anyones experiences. There also seems to be a lot of variation in the campsites (i.e. location from circuit and standard of showers/toilets etc...).
Any help would be mch appreciated.

I did exactly as you mentioned above in '08. Tunnel over Thursday morning, camping here - www.campingspador.be - would definitely recommend it. As you say, get there early on Sunday, especially as Schumacher is back! I'd say a general entry ticket is all you need, just carry a folding chair with you. Walking the entire circuit was one of the highlights.
You might find your options a little limited however as it appears you haven't booked anywhere to stay, I booked my trip pretty much straight after the '07 Spa GP and only just got what I wanted.

during the major events at Spa, I'm there for work(MD) and .... fun.
Usually I take the TIV.
Don't have problems with the traffic because I'm at the medical centre at 6 o'clock.
If you go during the F1 weekend, its better to be there already on Saturday or even better Friday.
Expect a lot of people this year because of Schumi's return.
The Germans will fill the camping easily!
