for car/bike use, small enough to hold a bullet camera with enough suction to stay in place at a reasonable speed, any idea's where to look, will only be used a few times so i'm not looking for a expensive/pro part

Mounting a bullet cam...

A Lump of hi-density foam and Duck/Gaffer Tape. Cheapest and easiest solution.

The Hague mounts are fantastic, I've bought one myself. but are really geared to hold the camera itself rather than a bullet cam. Oh, and the Hague gear is manfrotto, so you're pretty certain that it'll last a few years.

Quite agree... gaffer tape is ALWAYS the best way!
