hello

the tuscan is booked into hhc week on friday to have a rolling road test.
There are two main problems:

1. High oil comsumption about 1ltr every 200 miles
2. In every gear at about 5500 rpm there is a massive flat spot, nearly jerks me out of my seat. At the same time it dumps a load of cack out of the rear cans.

Have any of you had similar problems. HHC are going to change the oil back to mineral as the recommended stuff could be a bit thin. It has had a rebuild, and when i bought it last oct the previous owner had the high oil consumption, Chris neil were considering at the time to switch back to mineral.

joospeed, they told me that they would hook it up to a laptop, take it up the rev range to check that the flat spots were not being caused by any breathing problems. They didn't actually say they would use rolling road, i guess thats my assumption. If not will they just stick it in neutral?
