Digital Odometer in TVR Tamora

Hi, does anyone know how to adjust the odometer on the digital dash in Tamora,T350,Sagaris ?
vehicle is in Japan, and no body knows how it works.

Since Japan uses the metric system, I guess you want to change the display from mph to km/h. From my notes:

1. Access the main menu page where all the different menus are accessible from.
2. Move the cursor to the FACTORY menu and press both of the buttons to access this menu.
3. Enter the factory menu pages from the RETURN TO MENU screen as you would when entering the SETUP MENU (press one of the buttons).
4. Once in the factory menu you will see headings such as speedo zero, logo, AC, etc. Move the cursor to the UNITS heading.
5. With the cursor pointing to the units heading press both buttons together and the word ADJUST should be displayed next to the cursor.
6. Press one or the other button to toggle the units between MPH and KPH. Leave it showing the desired units.
7. Press both buttons to clear the ADJUST next to the cursor.
8. The units are now set to KMH, leave the menu by moving the cursor to the top until you see the RETURN TO MENU screen, press both buttons together and you should now be at the MAIN MENU screen.
9. Go back to the NORMAL heading and enter the normal use screens by pressing both buttons together. The displays should all now show KMH values and logos (assuming the LOGOS heading in the FACTORY MENU is set to ON).
10. Finally turn off the ignition to finally store these settings, it will still work without turning off the ignition but the action of turning off the ignition makes the system store these settings ready for next use. If the power was accidently to fail without turning off the ignition properly it would not save this setting.

Is there a way to access FACTORY MENU if it says "Access Denied"?

And is there a way to update the software of the display?

Maybe Cath Mason would be worth a try - she used to repair TVR ECUs (so it was mentioned in a couple of other threads) - CM Electricals.

I have managed to get Mph into Kmh. Thank you.

But I made a mistake that odometer went back to 10000Km it used be around about 18000Km

Is there anyway of getting it back to around 18000Km?

When I put the units into Kmh, the mileage shows 10000Kmh
When I put the units into Mph, the mileage shows 16836Mph

I cannot remember exact no. for Mph but it was something like a conversion from Mph to Kmh, but wrong way around.

I cannot guarantee that this will happen for every model.

I have service record, so I just want to put it back to what it was before.
Does anyone think dealer may know how to solve this problem?

The calculation on the odo of miles to kilometers in my Tuscan S is not quiet correct either, not the wrong way around, but about a 5% error.Although the digital speedo when either in MPH or KPH is very accurate when checked with GPS.

1Mile is about 1.6Km. So...
My Odo shows 10000Km and when I change to miles, shows up 16836 miles...

That should not happen...

Or unless if I am making a mistake of changing units.

I will check again when I get back home.

But you are right, When I also check a speed on my digital dash, and GPS speed is very close. so I think the speed showing on the display is correct.
