If so, try these:

http://www.laverstokepark.co.uk/organic-sausages/b...

I purchased them from the posh W supermarket a few days ago and just had them with a mediterranean veg mix. I must say they were absolutely fantastic, solid meat through out. Im not a foody by any means, so can't describe the taste of food that well, but I like what I like and these were top drawer!

His buffalo mozzarella is ace too, and if you like rich ice cream try the buffalo milk ice cream as well. Thinking about it, maybe we should just replace all the cows with buffalo?

Definitely a treat Don, will be purchasing them again.

Tog, Shall have to have a look through the other products and order some other things to try. I think a Water Buffalo would make a good substitue to a cow.

Yes and no.

Buffalo is very, very, VERY lean. So lean you have to be careful how you cook it to avoid a rather tough, dry meat. Cooked carefully in the manner to suit the cut and it's rich and delicious.

But beef is good too. Especially "marbled" cuts like rib-eye.

There's a place for both IMO.

Good points. I would think that's why the sausages have bacon in as well.

The buffalo biltong is good too.

My favourite sausages are from Newlyns farm shop: "Smoky Joe."

Absolutely wonderful.

I like the smokey Joes as well.

Most of their sausages and bacon (and other meat) are good though.

My faves are the 'Crowthorne' sausages from the new butcher in well Crowthorne.

The guy has a very nice pad! (so would I if I was an arms dealer) his garage is amazing as you can imagine, it has an Italian marble floor! and the 6 wheel F1 car is quite impressive! He has some very nice custom black mercs as his everyday cars too! I think the estate makes Ale too!

I had to visit him once for work and he drove me round the estate in a VW Touareg. Only time I'm likely to be driven by a F1 World Champion!

Anyone ever try the Sussex Brewery near Emsworth?
Over a hundred different types of sausage on their menu, real ale on tap.
Cracking food. Use to travel for miles to go there for lunch every now and then smile
Highly recommend a visit!

I love sausages. At the moment I'm mostly eating the Highland Pork sausages from my local butcher. They're an excellent breakfast sausage. Normally cooked using the 'Matthew Fort Method' of putting them in a frying pan on the lowest heat possible and a diffuser for about an hour, only turning them once. It makes them sweet, sticky and very moist in the middle.
