Following an enthusiastic exit off a roundabout, a whiff of power oversteer was detected.

Swiftly summoning my vast reserves of skill and craftsmanship behind the wheel, I promptly demonstrated my considerable driving prowess by biffing the kerb. Lets just call it a triumph of ambition over ability.

This resulted in the following:
a) One rapidly oscillating sphincter muscle.
b) Straightened the car up nicely.
c) One scuffed alloy wheel.

So........

Does anyone know of a reputable firm who can refurbish alloys in the Sussex area? All help appreciated.

Ta muchly.

Imelda at the weekend...?

Imelda..how badly scuffed is it? If it's not too bad I would suggest you call Colourworks....they'll just prep and respray it for you...about 40 quid I should wager.

If it's really bad then what about wicked wheels? They have franchises everywhere and are supposed to be quite good

cheers

Thanks Nightmare,

I think I'll give Wicked Wheels a try. The wheel's not dented but a bit serrated round the edge.

Maybe I should learn to drive properly first though!

I know David Batty uses a company based in Kent to refurbish wheels. Don't have the details, but I guess David would happily give you the number.

Done the same in the past myself - and I too had no one esle to blame!

You might want to get the chassis/wheel alignment checked out, just in case.
