Was looking around Youtube and came across a film by Peter Sellers called 'The Party' and thought I hadn't seen it on TV for many years. Might not be quite correct here, but my first thought was the PC mob wouldn't like it, so it never gets a TV showing.

The other film I looked at was the Dambusters which is now edited at every TV showing to forget Gibson's dogs name....

Any other good films that don't get shown or get chopped about like these ?

There's a whole raft of 1920'/40's /50's Cartoons that cannot be shown on TV due to smoking and or racial stereotypes.

The Party is one of my favourite films of all time. If you can watch that and not laugh you are a stone cold heartless dead monkey lover. So very very funny I may have to find my copy and watch it again tonight.

Wasn't the recent Paul Bettany film about Darwin "Creation" not released in the US because of religeous reasons? If it was it was a very limited showing.

Cinema I know but same thing smile

Breakfast at Tiffanys. Apparently getting a white guy to yellow his face and wear false buck teeth to play a mad chinese man just isn't the done thing!

Have they cut the dog completely from the dambusters or just omited naming him? He's a proper part of the story.

Has the original Short Circuit been shown recently?

The actor didn't black up as much for the sequel, he still puts on a really offensive indian accent though!

Not a film or Tv show but I heard Bruce Springsteen's Born in the USA the other day and thought the lyric "To go and kill the Yellow man" was a bit dubious in this PC world.

Come to think about it Doesnt Inspector Clouseau call Kato "my little yellow friend" or something similar?

How come that is allowed to stay when other racial descriptions are frowned upon?

His description of a bombburm with "You nearly blew his little yellow skin off" is still, I think, the funniest line ever.

So did I, that's why I have tasked myself to ruin it for as many people as I can! Just like it was ruined for me!
