Haven't been on the A339 from Basingstoke to Newbury for a couple of weeks. Coming home Friday night I see 2 new front facing Truvelo speed cameras mounted just before and after the junction near the Stone Masons as you head out of Basingstoke. The first one is about 1/4 past the last roundabout off of the ring road.

If you ever cut thru Romsey-Winchester(the old road) when the M27 is slow,as i did yesterday they have just put 2 new camera's between Romsey & Hursley.
Looked like they were waiting to be unveiled.

If you ever drive in towards London on the A10 from the M25, there is a camera along there that is the most hidden I have ever seen. Both detectors were going and I thought it had been removed until I was along side it. It is mounted up against a tree which covers it from view. Speed limit is also a way too slow for the road 40.

Damn the A10 is quite near me though it's long been a road to watch your speed on. Don't know about further up (past M25 heading for Cambridge) as it becomes a superb road, if a little busy for severe right pedal action.

Sounds like the detectors don't give enough warning, speak about it on Wednesday.

My GPS is set to 1/4 of a mile warning. The radar detector depends on lot of factors. Although on a good day it will beep just before the GPS - Thats just over 1/4 mile
