Uploading pictures - something odd...

I tried uploading a picture today and kept getting a distorted bit at the bottom. Tried various things - including from different laptops - still the same. The picture opened fine on my laptop. I got it to work in the end by re-saving it as a lesser resolution.

Just looked at another thread and the picture's the same. Anyone know what's going on?

I'm not in the office at the moment, so can't see that image properly at the moment regardless. I'll take a look when I'm in tomorrow but in the mean time can you let me know if it is still happening?

I have fixed the picture.

It seems that when the image manipulator tries to resize it after being uploaded it is causing the corruption. This can happen if the format of the image is slightly strange.

Let us know if it happens again, could just be that one image.

Thanks for the replies. It happened when I was trying to upload an image into a different thread. I then noticed the same had happened to someone else so thought it may be worth a mention.
