clutch choice

Chaps need a bit of input, what uprated clutch would you have in a grif/chimaera, looking for something that the other half can handle,dont do track days and yes the car might get a bit of wellie now and then but mostly normal driving. going to be 400+ brake, just womdering what other people have.

V8 Developments do a nice one (made by Helix). Heavier duty than standard, but is actually gives a lighter pedal feel. I've tracked and launched mine (320bhp 350ftlbs) plenty and it's never been any trouble.

I fitted a John Eales 500 lb/ft plate over a year ago and never had a problem with it.
I noticed it was a little 'grabby' at first but it settled in and/or i soon got used to it.
Its had a lot of abuse at the drag strip with grippy tyres and lots of nitrous oxide and no signs of slip as yet.

just putting in one from tvr power with there lightened flywheel... will let you know once finished and back on the road. Good price though £1022.00 inc everything

didnt think it clutch parts were that expensive ?

Similar experience for me as well, not doing the killer standing start stuff but getting abused on track with 450/400 bhp/torque
