good restaurants/ gastro pubs near plymouth

We have decided to brave the British summer and booked a holiday near Plymouth in a place called Newton Ferrers. Would love to hear where the best food is to be had, price not really an issue.

There are a few nice pubs in Newton Ferrers & Noss Mayo. I like the Swan in Noss.
When I was in Devon last week my brother told me about a place called Chloes in Plymouth which has had good reviews.
Over towards Totnes in Tuckenhay is the Maltsters which is a favourite of mine. It's about 45 mins from NF.
