Hey guys I know you are asking for JT to come in, we work together and JT is fine. We have just had a busy week, and some!!

JT doesnt do the Metro very often, however I do and the bomb went off on our regular line to the office, fortunately we took a taxi that morning!

Hey guys - thanks for thinking of me. Yep, as Graeme said, we work together and all is fine, considering. We don't even know of anyone we know being involved, thankfully, so far. It's getting closer but us tough ole pioneering types are often not far from the front line, that's the nature of the oil industry.
Mind you that hostage taking saga in one of Moscow's concert halls last year was a bit closer to home. I knew one guy who was supposed to go, had tickets. He couldn't go because we were working him too hard and I know several people with friends and relatives who were killed there.
All in all, not a lot different to London in the eighties with the IRA bombings.
Just as scary, but what can you do, when your number's up you gotta pay the piper!

London in the '80s had hazards all of its own too. In '89 Network Southeast (or whatever it was called at the time) killed a bunch of people in the train in front of mine just outside Clapham Junction. I remember our driver walking back down the train ashen faced telling us there had been an accident in front and we would be stuck for some time. Eventually we got out and walked up the tracks past the wreck which was hard to recognise as trains at all. Looked more as if someone had just emptied a couple of council skips onto the tracks.
All because some !!!! wiring the signals hadn't done his job properly.
Glad to hear you avoided any trouble in the Mother Russia JT.
