stunning shots!

1&8 catch my eye straight away, though the rest are spectacular enough.

Hi, great shots mate! I have always wondered (having mainly done wildlife not automotive photography) how the effect in shot 2 is achieved, is it a post processing technique, or is a rig used woth a camera mounted on it, or is it some very good panning style technique?

Cheers, James

James. The affect is achieved by mounting a rig to the car, as you expected, then photoshopping it out.

Cheers dean, i just had a quick browse on your website, some more fantastic shots! I see you're based in Surrey, is the wooded area you took these shots in the area? I recognised then New Forest from F430 shots biggrin.

Hi James,

Thanks. All the shots in this series were in the New Forest...love that place.

Dean are they all using natural light only? Is the light through the tree image only one exposure?

Excellent shots as usual Dean. Just echoing above comments about light or lighting, what do you use or is it all natural light?

Love No 1 for the misty moodiness and No 6 for the light beam.

Cheers

Thanks all smile

These are all naturally lit, single exposure. I may have brightened/darkened some parts in PS but they're not far from 'straight out of camera'.

Cheers.

ive always found silver mercs a little dull.... until. really exceptional photos!

Number 6 does it for me - the light through the trees, the twinkle on the car, the road into distance. thats a real 1 in a million shot
