Shreaded my belt....called Keith who replaced it next day foc...when I looked into the problem it was the power steering pump pulley bearing that had partially seized.
The bearing is the same size as if I actually had power steering, far to big for just an idler pulley.
Had a chat with Keith who could see no reason why I couldnt down size the bearing and make a slave carrier to fit the original casting.....I only wanted to pay for the belt as I felt guilty!!
What would we do without these top guys

To me Clever Trevor is the most reliable TVR parts source that currently exists. Their website is certainly much more extensive than any other out there.

Keith is a star who, a couple of years ago, personally delivered some parts to my door.

Have to give another thumbs up for Clever Trevor.

Used them for the first time last week and he was so helpful and so knowledgeable and the prices were generally better than the other specialists too!. He even managed to get hold of a few parts that weren't even on his website for me and getting all parts i needed to me the next day.

If only all companies gave such great service, the world would be a better place!

I've used Clever Trevor on several occasions and been very happy. I would like to bring some balance to this discussion though. I have often found Clever Trevor singnificantly more expensive than TVRcarparts & ACT, mostly the P&P costs. I purchased a new otter switch on line yesterday and paid £19 delivered. Clever Trevor site quoted £26 delivered

yes but the price goes the other way as I wanted some wheel badges and he was a lot cheaper than an alternative parts supplier.

Seems to me that a fiver is a small price to pay to make sure that a good business stays that way...

for me also is that fact he uses Royal mail, one thing the gets me is a lot of the other carriers their depots can be up to 40 miles away and they dont like leaving stuff without signing, at least with RM its local for picking up
