I spent a couple of hours yesterday over at Richmond Park, the first time I've ever actually stopped and wandered around rather than just driving through on the way somewhere else. The weather was fairly overcast for most of the time I was there until the sky cleared just as the sun was going down.
Jackdaw.

Red Deer.

Grey Squirrel.

Fallow Deer.

Just as the sun was going down and I was heading back to the car the light came good.
A coffee after the walk.

Sunset behind the trees.

All except the last were shot with the Sigma 100-300mm f4 at or near 300mm, the last was with the 15-85mm at 15mm.
C&C welcomed as ever.

Nice shots mate! especially like the jackdaw, most people wouldnt bother photographing a jackdaw but their bright blue eyes make them very photogenic in my opionion, and also the portrait of the young red dear stag.
I keep meaning to go to richmond park to photograph the deer, i went to petworth park where they have the largest herd of Fallow Dear in the country during the rut this year which was fantastic to watch, got some okay photo's too.

Cheers James. I'm hoping to get over there a few more times in the coming months, along with a few trips to Knowle Park where they have another great collection of deer.I keep meaning to go to richmond park to photograph the deer, i went to petworth park where they have the largest herd of Fallow Dear in the country during the rut this year which was fantastic to watch, got some okay photo's too.
