the roof off but the back window still in place. I've heard some horror stories about the windows blowing out, so if you can drive along how fast can you safely go?

Cheers,

hi, mark
in mine you can do about 70ish but its not the danger of it falling out thats the problem! its whether your ears can take it as you get so much wind buffering inside that it gives you a headache!

Never had a problem with mine.

Due to the English weather and the way it can change at anytime i never take the rear screen out.

There was a guy in a Tuscan at the TVRCC (City region) track day at Snetterton last year who was driving with the roof off and rear window in. He wasn't hanging about either, should have thought at least 140mph by the braking at the end of Revett Straight.

never had a problem with ours, but not gone quite as fast as you guys. our 2 dogs (chihauhaus) love sitting right at the back with the wind in their ears, strapped in of course though

They cetainly do bounce when they hit the road. Mind you, my roof was on as my boot was full up with my golf clubs and scuba diving gear but one of the catches wasn't done up properly.
