hi all, my hurricane induction kit for my s2 k series came in the post today, gonna fit it tomorrow and was just wandering how hard it is to fit? reading through the instructions it says i need to take the wheel off and wheel arch liner. do i need to go to all this trouble to fit it?

not sure about the s2 as mines an s1- but I didn't bother removing the wheel and liner, so long as your arms aren't too beefy you can reach ok, it's an easy job- I did it, says a lot!

It's a lot easier if you take the wheel off and the liner out. Not a big deal if you've got axle stands, don't leave it propped up on a jack! The biggest issue is generally getting the old airbox(es) out. Some of the bolts can be a bit of a bh to get off.

Regarding the old airbox........I just snapped mine off after giving up with the bolts, they can be a proper pita. You'll get an airbox for £10 off ebay if you vere return the car to standard...
