It can now be confirmed that what people though was vinyl stuck over a tin top to give a convertible look is actually real.
I spotted what at first looked like an unusual car with the roof down early this morning and through my bleary-eyed state I could have sworn I saw a BMW badge. On closer inspection the car was revealed to indeed be a BMW Z3 with a spine curdling 1.8 litre engine, anyone know if this is a 'special' model, I'm not sure I've ever seen a convertible BMW Z3?

Other reports suggest this trend could spread as it was overheard at an MGF meet they were doing to be daring and try something new. Our intrepid reporter has said they intend to meet en-mass early on Sunday morning in Sainsburys' car park and put the roof down. One cad was also quoted as saying he would leave his down until nearly dusk.

Good grief!! How do they do it?? Won't it mess up their hairdressers finest work?? Have the Germs found a way to do this with electrickery?? How many towels can a Z3 carry anyway??
