I wish BB's could fit in a C5, C6 and in the next Vettes (not that I can predict). Engine bay space is the bottleneck . This thread makes it pretty clear it's not possible, through explanation:

Ah well, the LS6 is still awesome I suppose, and sticking in a BB will be cramped, cost a lot in chassis (frame work), and the car will be nose heavy, screwing up the weight distribution and handling (partly due to the change in weight distribution).
