can something with mayonnaise in it be frozen?
Discussion
I made a big batch of tuna sweetcorn pasta, decanted into lunchbox size containers and then put in the fridge.
It is likely I won't eat it all within the next couple of days and I don't want it to go off.
Can some of it be frozen?
Is it safe to freeze (then defrost) something with mayonnaise in it?

Quick Googling suggests not:
"With so many dishes calling for mayonnaise, it would be handy if this ingredient could freeze, but unfortunately the answer is no. Mayo cannot be frozen because it will separate during the freezing process and will not resemble mayonnaise when done.
This means that any dips or recipes that include mayonnaise cannot be frozen.
If you are so inclined, next time you are at the end of a jar of mayo, pop it into the freezer and you can see exactly why mayonnaise is one ingredient that cannot be frozen."
Get it eaten.
