Suggest something to make with Vanilla pods

I've just foud some Vanilla Pods in the cupboard with a use by date of February so I need to use them up. Anyone got any recipes I can use them in? Open to any course ideas, although I think they are probably best in a dessert.

Slit a couple a pods, shove them in a bottle of vodka, wait a few weeks.

Vanilla pods last for ages. Stick them in a canister of sugar to flavour it while you think of something.

If the pods have got a bit dried out, they can be brought back to life by soaking in hot water for 20 minutes.

on a serious note, type it in google, that will keep you busy for a while.

^^^^^ mmmmmm definitely pannacotta, made an attempt at christmas & it turned out very nicely (results in picture format on the christmas dinner comp thread)
