Rear clip opening

hi Has anyone noticed on the yellow factory LS7 photos the rear clip is alot more open and the struts are positioned in a different place??

But the original ball poitions are still in place as far as I can see. No? One for IVA one for real life? (or maybe just for the picture so you can see all of the engine bay?)

sure my clip doesnt open that far and the struts bolt onto the clip higher as well???

cant get into the garage at the moment, not even thinking of attempting to open the clip... just an observation?

O.K. For the rest of us from the unwashed masses that are not involved in the British SVA world( thank you dear God) can somebody find out if what we are seeing is an actual factory strut off the original mount point on the frame to the different location shown in the picture? Or more likely its just a fixed strut for shows only. I have reason to believe if its the first, most of the OTHER WORLD cars will be so modified in short order. Lee
