Does any one have a spare one knocking around they dont need or one off a car they could take some photos of all the bits for me?

Im making one for topless taz and it would be easier to work from a tuscan one than totaly from scratch

By tonneau, do you mean the horizontal cover over the passenger compartment, or the cover that goes behind the seat and roll cage and fixes to the rear deck?

The rear tonneau on mine is constructed out of 2 main rear sections, 2 smaller curved parts which go round the roll cage, and finally a vertical bulkhead behind the seat. Most of them are held on with camlock fittings to give better access to the battery, fuel extinguisher etc. Howeve there are some cars about that have a one piece cover...

What sort of thing are you after? I don't have any spares but happy to help out with photos or give you access to the car.

Both bits...

ANy pics would be good, showing the separate parts if poss or just some shots of it all in the car so i can work out how they fit it together and the best way to mould mine

Cheers

I'll try to remember to take some snaps on Friday. All the panels are off so it would give you a good idea.

As for the rebuild - well, its at the bodyshop for painting. It was fairly comprehensively shagged. The tub took a huge whack and was split inside all over the place. We've had to order a new bonnet as we can't repair the old one in time. And to cap it all the steering wheel is buggered (as well as the seat).

It'll be done for the race at the weekend, but Friday will be a long, long day. Apart from reassembly, we have 2 hubs and a wishbone to replace, then do all the corner weights and set up. And change the gearbox again if we have time.
