Is there a correct way/order of tightening the manifold bolts when re-fitting, or doesn't it matter...presume loosly tighten all then fully once all bolts in place??

Other than tightening gradually to the specifid torque, the most important thing to remember is that every time you tighten one bolt, the next one you tighten should be the one furthest away from the last. The worst thing to do would just to go along each row torquing up adjacent bolts as you 'll end up trapping a lot of stress within the material.
