Ok so we all know how good the x35d & x23d are but Saabs 1.9 TTID 195bhp Twin Turbo diesel what are the reviews?

Why is this Fiat owned unit not used in any other vehicle? Why have they not moved onto the new 2.0ltr Fiat owned unit and twin charged that one?

It's not used because it's junk. See any Vectra or Astra near you, dual masses hanging out, ruined inlet manifolds, constant EGR issues, wiring faults.

I guess Saab have too many financial issues for Fiat to start supplying engines.

But egr failure is a problem with fords tdci and the PDF tdi vag unit. But the fiat 1.9ltr diesel is excellent for it's time.

Ok so as well as being a hater of old cars and a fan of the car scrappage scheme- you're also a biassed worshiper of anything Fiat makes. What else is new?
