Bathroom suites

I'm looking to put a new bathroom suite in. I Plan to be at the house for a good few years so wondered the difference between acrylic v steel on the bath tub? Any advice please?

We've had nothing but Bette baths for twenty years -they're rock solid and virtually indestructible. I'd never have an acrylic bath.
