Which is the best top spec TVR out of this lot?

Cerbera
T350c

My preference would be the T350c followed by the Cerb then the Griff and then the Chim.

That is my opinion purley based on looks.

But which is the best in terms of performance?

the cerb will win in a straight line. The T350 will win in the bends.
the cerb AJP v8 4.5 is the daddy.

It would depend on a plethora of factors, but on our TVRCC runs the resident Cerbs piss all over our T350! This may be due to the Cerb owners' general crazy-streak and better driving skills but when I push it I can keep up with the Tuscans, barely!

Ours is a standard 3.6 2005 car with no mods, but it feels like a strong engine.

Same chassis so tuned 3.6 vs tuned 4.0 hands it to the Tuscan.

Each model can vary a great deal dependant on condition/modifications etc.
My 'bottom' of the list Chimaera is yet to be beaten by any model TVR (LS excluded) over the 1/4

Is nitro a useable everyday kind of power hike? Will it work seamlessly and work well with the car through the bends etc or is it a point and squirt kind of mod?

I think that we have to assume that 'top spec TVR' means ex-works.

I don't think you'll feel under-horsepowered whichever one you get. And to be honest, what are the chances of you arriving at an empty stretch of road at the same time as someone else with a performance car that's comparable to a TVR and both of you wanting to race. Get the car you like and can afford and don't worry about performance - you'll have enough.

I suppose you wouldnt use it mid corner but then you wouldnt accelerate a great deal mid corner either. You can have it set up using a progressive controller so that the power 'kick' comes in as gently as you require and can be very useable on the road or track but ideally it would be used for hard acceleration only.

Yeah more point and squirt i suppose but definately more useable elsewhere than people give credit for

I like the Tuscan but would only get the mk2 s version as it's the best but it's too much for me.

It's gotta be the t350c for me but just wanted to see how it compared to the others. I missed the Tuscan by mistake if I'm honest :-( oops

I'm regretting getting rid of my Rangie at the moment , I've been looking for a decent Classic/Disco LPG/Diesel at the lower end of the price range, they've all gone up in value with the snow or no ones selling at the moment!
